Wearing Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung during Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha is the traditional custom to Malay themselves and Muslims. Other than that, Baju Kurung and Baju melayu usually be worn during religious events or kenduri. this is because Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung looks more polite if being worn.
            Black Baju Melayu with gold samping and songkok usually being worn by government staff in formal events. This is to differentiate between Malay and other races.
